What Is the Difference Between the Custom Album and Coffee Table Book?

 

The main difference lies in the pages.

The images within the album are printed onto paper pressed to the front and back of dense sheets of card stock. This allows for the album pages to be rigid and thick. The pages will seamlessly lay flat when opened.

 Classic Album pages can be ordered as full-spreads, meaning one image can cover an entire spread – both the left and right-hand page.

The Coffee Table Book is similar to the Classic Album in that it is hard covered and it’s pages also lie flat.

However, the pages are significantly thinner than those shown in the Classic Album.

They are flexible, bending slightly when you turn the page.

Also, unlike the photos in the Classic Album that can be printed over the book’s gutter to cover an entire spread seamlessly, this is not a possibility with the Coffee Table Book as there will be image loss in the book’s gutter.

 

 

 

 

Should I Invest in an Album or a Coffee Table Book?

 

Personally, I love both options.

The Album is more formal and radiates elegance.

The Coffee Table Books are more casual, but they are just as lovely with their modern appeal.

You can’t go wrong with either choice. Both products are customized by yours truly.

I put a lot of time and love into creating them in order to make sure you’re left with a beautiful keepsake that you’ll treasure for many years to come!

 

 

Why Should We Invest in an Album or Coffee Table Book?

 

Whether you choose to purchase an album/book with me or later on through another company, please, please, PLEASE…do get an album at some point or another.

It’s difficult to articulate, but there’s something about being able to touch an image and see it on paper that makes the experience all that more special.

 Maybe it’s just me, but when I think of looking through treasured memories, it sounds much more appealing to view them by turning the pages of an album, rather than by computer screen.

If possible, I recommend getting an album sooner rather than later.

I say this because they can be time-consuming to create.

More often than not, life gets in the way…and before you know it, it’s 3 years later and the pictures are still on a laptop and have yet to be printed.

It is an heirloom that will be treasured and eventually passed down to the next generation.

Our great-grandkids will see it one day…and sure, they’ll probably crack a few jokes at our style (until the trends repeat themselves and they try to copy us, of course!), but they’ll also be left with our stories.

While I always recommend saving your photos in multiple locations, it’s important to remember that things happen.

Technology changes incredibly quickly and sometimes the unexpected occurs.

Not to mention, they can be hard to retrieve at a moment’s notice.

Having your images available in tangible form ensures their presence.
