In my experience, early fall — particularly late September through late October — is one of the best times to get married at Adamson House. The weather is often warm but comfortable, the ocean tends to photograph a deeper blue, and Malibu typically experiences less coastal wind than it does during spring.

Spring weddings can be incredibly lush and vibrant, especially in April and May, but this time of year is usually a bit windier along the coast.

Summer brings long days and gorgeous sunsets, though midday ceremonies can feel hotter and brighter than couples expect.

November – March is not available for wedding bookings at the Adamson House.

The history of the Adamson House is an interesting one. The last owner of Malibu was a wealthy man who bought the property in 1892 for $10 an acre. 30 years later, this land became the most valuable piece of real estate in the United States. The owner sought to create an ideal country home on the seaside. With this, the Adamson House came into fruition, a ranch style home with Spanish influences that was filled with all sorts of beautiful animals.
