Client Experience

Looking for photographers who incorporate dreamy light, utilize natural & flattering poses, and create images that are timeless, but also emotive and FEEL like the couple.

Beyond that, I am mainly looking for associate photographers with positive/feel good energy who make the couple feel beautiful and amazing on their day! I'd love associates to photograph the wedding and treat the couple with the same attention to detail and level of care that one would shoot his or her own weddings with.

I'm also looking for associates who are proactive and willing to give a lot of direction, such as moving the couple towards the best light, making sure the poses are flattering, yet also natural looking, moving furniture or distractions if needed, etc.

Pay Details

Wedding Associate Lead Photographer Pay: $120 - $165 per hour

Mini Weekday Elopements: $200 for 90 minutes / $250 for 2 hours

Engagement Sessions: $200 for 90 minutes / $250 for 2 hours

Pre-wedding phone calls with clients: $25/hour

Pre-scouting at the venue: $60 total

Second Shooting: $55/hour

Travel

If the location is 60+ miles from your home: Travel costs are paid to you at a rate of $.60/mile for every mile over 120 miles (round trip)

If you face any tolls along the way, you will be reimbursed for these

Any parking fees while photographing will be reimbursed with receipts

Next Steps | Associate Photographer Checklist

If this all sounds good, please let me know as soon as possible! The next step would be to complete the associate photographer checklist, including the following:

Step 1:

Send over 2 or more of your favorite wedding galleries and 1-2 engagement session galleries.

These images will be downloaded & loaded onto a pic-time gallery to provide couples with a comprehensive look at your work/style. Don't worry if our editing styles are different; I will explain to couples that the photos would be edited in my style, but these galleries will give couples a look at your photography approach when it comes to lighting, poses, etc.

Step 2:

A curated selection of 25-50 of your favorite images in Raw format. Please include a mix of details, flat-lays, portraits, candids, reception, etc.

I will apply my own edits to these 25-50 images for consistency to offer clients a preview of what they can expect their final images to look like.

Step 3:

A photo of you, along with a brief summary that describes you! This will be shown to clients along with your work to give them a better idea of your personality & what they can expect on their day.

Some potential info to include in the summary:

• What's your favorite part to photograph at a wedding?
• What's your favorite film?
• What do you find most interesting about wedding photography?

Booking:

When an associate opportunity arrises, I will text you to see if you are first available on that date and interested. If you are available, I will send the couple the gallery samples of your work and then let you know as soon as possible if it's a match!

If it is, I will send over a contract your way to make it official!

For weddings, every lead photographer is paid a retainer payment of $250 to secure the client's date on your calendar. The remaining balance owed is paid out upon successful delivery of the images after the wedding.

For Mini Elopements & Engagement sessions, lead photographers are paid a retainer payment of $50 to secure the client's date on your calendar. The remaining balance owed is paid out upon successful delivery of the images after the wedding.
