Julian, CA Wedding Photographer

Are you looking for a Julian, CA wedding photographer?! Good news – here I am!!! :) Haha.

No, but seriously! I absolutely love photographing weddings in Julian, San Diego! Julian is a charming little town in East San Diego that makes you feel like you've gone back in time. You know the show "Gilmore Girls"? It reminds me of that town. It's cute, small, and makes one think of a streaming cup of coffee with some sweet apple pie.

Most Julian, San Diego wedding photographers photograph at Sacred Mountain, Julian. This is a gigantic venue that is so, SO beautiful. It has a rustic charm, stunning views, and much more.

What I really love about Julian, California is that it makes one feel like they are somewhere completely different. With breathtaking views of the mountains, maple trees gallore, and lot's of nature, you feel like you're having a destination wedding, except you're really in San Diego.

I think this is why having a wedding in Julian, California is the perfect choice if you've always wanted to have a destination wedding, but you'd like to keep things simple as destination weddings are notoriously difficult to plan.

Below I cover some venue options that would be great for a Julian, CA elopement or larger wedding!

I highly recommend downloading my WEDDING PLANNER PRINTABLE.

WEDDING PLANNER GUIDE

This printable includes everything you need to stay organized and stress free during the wedding planning process.

Julian, Ca Wedding Venue

Because Julian, Ca so small (something that really gives it's charm, in my opinion), it doesn't have a wide selection of wedding venues, but the ones it does have are BEAUTIFUL.

Sacred Mountain Julian

Sacred Mountain Julian is an outdoor venue on 61 acres of nature. It has overnight accommodations for up to 32 guests. It has a few different rustic event spaces to choose from - the sunset plataeu, the meadow, the courtyard and lounge, and the meadow house. From going there and photographing in person, my personal favorites are the sunset plateau and the meadow.

Every Julian wedding photographer I know LOVES photographing here because it has a lot of variety in terms of backdrop. The property itself is massive, allowing for plenty of epic photo opportunities.

If you're thinking of having a Julian, CA elopement or intimate wedding, this venue works beautifully as it can accommodate smaller guest counts!

Julian Wedding Venue

This venue has some affordable all inclusive packages. It's on a beautiful property that includes a botanical garden. It has a peaceful and rustic quality.

Pine Hill

I like Pine Hill a lot. It has that "out in the woods" quality that makes Julian, CA so special.

Julian, Station

Julian Station is super cute! You can have your wedding overlooking a lovely view of huge oak trees and the mountain range. Julian station also has 3 tasting rooms - hard cider, wine and chocolate, and craft beer.

One con of living in the heart of Los Angeles is that you can never see the stars. In Julian, CA, you can! Julian wedding photographers LOVE this as they can capture some breathtaking photos showcasing the magic of the night sky. If you're having a Julian, CA elopement, this activity is perfect as it screams romance.

Best Season for a Julian Wedding

Fall, without a doubt. A Julian, CA elopement or wedding in the Fall is magical. With the cooler temperatures and colorful leaves, you really can't beat it. I'd say mid September - November are ideal!
