I absolutely love Temecula weddings! The breathtaking panoramic views of the rolling hills, the amazing wineries and ranches, and the unique terrain. There really is so much to love when it comes to a Temecula elopement or wedding.
This is why so many couples choose Temecula for their wedding. It's far enough from Los Angeles to give your wedding a destination quality, but it's not SO far that it becomes overly stressful to navigate and plan.
As a Temecula wedding photographer, I have photographed at many venues throughout Temecula...and I have to say...ALL have been beautiful. It's difficult not to have a gorgeous wedding in Temecula, when so much of it includes natural beauty. When you have a lot of natural beauty at your venue, you don't need to do as much to decorate it.

Temecula Wedding Venues
Temecula has a plethora of amazing wedding venues. I'll include some of my absolute favorites below!
I love Galway Downs so much that my fiance and I actually chose to have our wedding here. I have been to a lot of venues and this is one of my all time favorites...and for many reasons.
Nature is at the forefront of this venue.
The estate itself is absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony is held in a meadow area that is both peaceful and elegant.
There are also plenty of areas for your Temecula wedding photographer to take amazing photos of you both. There are small creeks with bridges, an interesting tree structure (perfect for quirkier, funkier shots), meadow areas, and more. There is also a lovely bougainvillea and cacti for those looking to integrate a slight desert vibe!
The reception is equally amazing. It takes place in a huge, rustic, modern barnyard. Now before you think - "old barnyard". No, it's not that. It's elegant, sophisticated and let's in a TON of natural light. It has a tall ceiling, a stunning fireplace and a ton of space. I really adore this space and it's pretty much every Temecula wedding photographers dream to shoot here! That's how gorgeous it is!
Temecula Creek inn has lovely mix of whimsical meets rustic. It has a stone cottage that was built in the 1800s. Century old trees surround this structure. If you're looking to have a Temecula wedding with a romantic, fairytale vibe, this is the venue for you.
Temecula Creek Cottages is located in a canyon area with seasonal gardens and 100+ old oak trees. This venue provides a backdrop of boulders, which is definitely something different for the area. This venue provides wine county meets Palm Springs desert vibes. This is a gorgeous venue for some amazing Temecula wedding photography.
This venue is gorgeous. It whispers "You're in Temecula" with sights overlooking grapevines, cobblestone walkways, a gorgeous lake, and lots of nature. Your Temecula wedding photographer will be sure to capture some epic photos of your special day here!
I recommend this venue if you want a Temecula wedding with rolling vineyards, but are NOT really drawn to that rustic look that most vineyards have. This venue has a modern, industrial quality!
Lorimar winery has both vineyards and citrus groves. It also includes twinkle lights and a barrel room for more intimate Temecula weddings.
This is another great option for a Temecula wedding. This venue has breathtaking views and wildlife. They are an all inclusive wedding venue, keeping the process simple!
This venue is a favorite among many Temecula wedding photographers. This vineyard is surrounded by mountains, fountains, gardens, Italian-inspired architecture, chandeliers, twinkle lights, and more. If you'd love to have a Temecula wedding with an old world charm, this is the venue for you both!
This venue has panoramic views of Temecula wine country, winding passageways through English gardens, beautiful tiles, fountains, and Mediterranean architecture!
It is also an all inclusive wedding venue!
Questions & Answers
- What made you decide to be a Temecula wedding photographer?
I live in Los Angeles and Temecula is a perfect distance away. It's close enough to still photograph at, but far enough to where the environment feels really different.
How so? Temecula weddings have more of a relaxed, "in nature" type of vibe. Los Angeles weddings, which I also really love, tend to be faster paced with a more urban, modern feel.
I really love the rustic, natural quality Temecula weddings have. I feel lucky to be able to be a Temecula wedding photographer.
2. What's Your Favorite Wedding Venue in Temecula?
Ahh, there are so many amazing venues for a Temecula wedding. Truly! I feel like there is no WRONG place to get married here. With breathtaking views of wine county, so many venues are absolutely spectacular. However, if I had to choose, I'd go with Galway Downs. I really love the reception site. I think it is so, SO beautiful.
3. As a Temecula wedding photographer, can you offer any photography tips? What's you're Temecula wedding photography approach?
I would say to visit a few different venues for options. The nice thing about planning a Temecula wedding is that there are a lot of venues to choose from in close proximity to one another.
Also, be mindful of weather. Summers in Temecula are much hotter than summers in Los Angeles. They also tend to be humid. It tends to be really hot until around October. Personally, I have shot quite a few Temecula weddings in December, January, and February...and the weather was fantastic. Still warm with a nice breeze.
My Temecula wedding photography approach is to focus on getting photos with dreamy light and a lot of emotion. I give a lot of guidance, but I do this in a way that lends to natural looking photos. I'll never leave you hanging not knowing what to do in front of the camera, but I also refrain from micromanaging and offering poses that look "overly posed." You know what I mean? It's all a balance!

As a starting point, my wedding photography collections begin at $3,000, with most couples spending around $3,600.
I also offer associate photography collections with other amazing Temecula wedding photographers. Those start at around $2,700 depending on the amount of hours needed. With an associate photographer package, I wouldn't be the one to personally photograph your wedding, but you'd work with an associate photographer who I completely trust and shoots in a similar style to that of my own.
TEMECULA AIRBNBS
If you're looking to have a Temecula elopement, it's possible to rent out an airbnb and have your ceremony and reception there. Of course, this all has to be disclosed to the property owners, but I have seen it been done!
This is a perfect solution for more intimate weddings in which you really want to customize everything. Keep in mind, the larger the wedding, the more work. You'll have to bring in tables, chairs, linens, plates, etc. With this said, I only really recommend this for weddings of 40 people or less.

This would make a great location for an intimate Temecula wedding or elopement. It includes a vineyard, perfect for Temecula wedding photos. You can also watch hot air balloons float on by in the morning!
This Temecula airbnb is nestled in wine country. It's on a hilltop, providing amazing sights of the country side, hot air balloons, etc. Your Temecula wedding photographer will be sure to capture some super romantic photos of you two here!
Another beautiful location in the heart of wine country! This offers panoramic views of the vines and mountains. A beautiful option for your Temecula elopement.
This is my personal favorite out off the options. The inside of the house is just as beautiful as the outside. So if you prefer an indoor reception, it will be stunning! Thee state includes 25 foot ceilings with gorgeous beams.
Outside you have gorgeous views of wine country. This is the perfect option for an intimate Temecula wedding.
This airbnb also has amazing light, which is something that is SO important when it comes to wedding photography.
5. Lovers Ranch
This estate offers a 28 acre equestrian facility. It also includes breathtaking views of vineyards, bougainvilleas, valleys, and more.
Temecula Hotels
It's always good to give your guests a couple of suggested options for hotel accommodations. Here are a few!
This hotel option is fancier than most. Perfect if you want to provide your Temecula wedding guests with with a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere.
This is a safe and solid choice for your Temecula wedding guests!
If you'd like to point your guests towards a hotel with more of a quaint bed and breakfast ambiance, the Temecula Creek Inn is a great option.
